Father’s Day Weekend

This weekend was filled with a huge slice of Butterfinger cheesecake, some really wonderful friends, and a relaxing trip home to see my family and to celebrate Father’s Day. It was also filled with some real disappointment and some stressful situations, but it has really been a reminder that God is completely in control. He certainly knows what He’s doing, and I’m thankful that I don’t have to have the responsibility to be in control of everything! My mom and I were discussing that this morning and all she said was, “We would just mess everything up even more.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

He just HAD to take a bite before I snapped the photo… 🙂

Delicious barbeque pork chops my dad grilled up for Father’s Day—not only is he a wonderful cook, but a wonderful father as well! Couldn’t be more thankful for such a supportive and loving father and I am even more thankful that I got to be home to celebrate his special day with him!

Finally reunited with the best puppy in the world! I love my Dolly 🙂
